light of my life!

This year has already gotten off to a wild and crazy start! Will try and fill ya in..I am super tired but really am trying to finish the update.. so I apologize in advance for any misspellings ext..

Christmas 2010: We all had a fantastic time this year, probably our best Christmas to date! Kyler really enjoyed opening ALL of his presents.. He would say "WHAT IT IS" before he would open them. He would then hold up whatever it was and say, Yay (whatever it was) Yay! WOO HOO! lol!

Now..

We are trying to find room in our tini house for all this fun new stuff! ;)

I had to just put some of it away and will have to bring it out a couple months down the road! This kid will prob never know what it's like to actually want something. Crazy, I know!

Justin and I have both agreed, this is probably the most fun we have had as a family thus far. Our life and hearts have grown so much and now this little precious being who has just amazed us so.. (We continue to question each other,saying.. "Who is this Person, Is this our baby"?? TEAR) Kyler is SO smart, very inquisitive about everything, Hilariously entertaining( for being an only child), and boy is he going to be quite the athlete and not to mention is already eating us out of house and home!! I guess you could say we are super proud of our little munchkin!

Funny:

The other night this was a conversation from Kyler's room to ours..(supposed to be going to sleep, mind you)
Justin: coughs (cedar fever is killing us)
Kyler:(yells) You ok Dada? (pause).. Dada you ok? You need some Water?
J:(snicker) I'm good buddy,Thank you.
Ky: ok, Your welcome!( we died laughing!)
(A little later..We hear him playing in his room)
J: Go to sleep Kyler!
Ky: okay..I wuve you! (continues to play and read books)
J: I love you too, Good Nite Buddy!
(PAUSE)....
J:sneezes
Ky: (yells again) Bless You Dada!
J: Thank you Kyler.(snicker)
Ky: Your welcome!
This went on for about 5 more minutes of Kyler checking on us.. We laughed so hard we had tears in our eyes! Never a dull moment around here!

I have been so behind on updating and taking pictures so I am sorry.. BUT,

A. He runs so fast that half the time I can't even catch him to take a pic and B. We are having too much fun, and laughing so hard at him we forget.. I will try and do better at updating this..

Exciting news! Last Wed when I picked Kyler up from School(LOVE the Goddard school he is in, and adore his teachers!) His teacher told me he went Pee Pee in the Potty!!!! I thought that was huge!

He was so proud he wanted to call(well, he says I want to "hello") Gigi, Meme ext..and tell them the exciting news! So we did.. So funny! He said, I go Pee in Potty!(ewwws and awhhs)They told Kyler what a great job he did..Then everyone at the grandma's offices knew about it as well, being that they were praising him over the phone! LOL. I have tried to get him to sit on the potty at home and no such luck! Oh well.. Baby steps I guess! :~/

They way he says things are hysterical..
He says "height dare" for right there.
"I like catching school buses all da day".
Listening to him sing his abc's are priceless! I could go on and on but you get the drift I'm sure. ;)
HEALTH SCARE:

#1Christmas day my Memaw Lanier had a mini stroke and so we all spent that evening at Seton Hospital. It was a very scary time, but she is now home and doing much better. Praise the lord!

She is in great hands! My amazing Pawpaw takes great care of her! He is AWESOME!



#2. My Memaw Erickson(Caldwell) had to go into the hospital the exact day my other grandma was getting out! YikeAromba!!! She fell and hurt her hip, but luckily didn't break anything! She is now in rehab and making more and more progress everyday! Talk about a crazy last couple of weeks! My family is not necessarily that big, which means we are SUPER TIGHT!

My family means the world to me! When they hurt, I hurt!

So I guess you can say It has been a whirlwind of emotions the last couple of weeks..
